MGM Macau is a luxury Hotel and casino located in the Macau area of Southern China, installed with VDA Group’s integrated Room Automation and IPTV system.

From their ‘Jewellery Box’ inspired interior design, incorporating cutting edge technology, MGM Macau is more than just your average Hotel and casino.  Every detail has been meticulously designed with a unique creative style of its spaces carefully thought out. The MGM Macau management’s emphasis on technological impact to their guest, incorporates the world class expertise of the VDA Group, a renowned leader in the automation and Hospitality technology sector across the property.

Thanks to VDA’s Guest Room Management System, MGM Macau places the control of the guest room in the hands of the guest, them being able to manage room presence, door access, and lighting and curtain control, all from a mobile device. MGM Macau is a fully customized project that adopted VDA Group’s BigMaster solution as its choice of Room Automation System.

In addition to the various Hospitality technologies integrated at MGM Macau, VDA Group has also deployed the reliable and intuitive Interactive TV system, PowerTV ONAIR, an innovative platform of information and entertainment presented through their televisions, all running through the Hotel network, and managed through cloud technology. The cloud platform centralizes the software, firmware, and providing content updates to the system itself automatically.

Power TV ONAIR is a touch point between the Hotel and their guest, that visually and interactively promotes the Hotel’s services, its promotions and functionality, through the guest room TV or on the Hotel guest’s mobile device. PowerTV ONAIR apps provide an opportunity for the Hotel staff to inform guests in real time about scheduled activities in the Hotel, provide information on the city, recommend restaurants, play movies, and listen to music, among many other things, all available on demand through digital technology.
